Born From a Frustration With the Ordinary
Stone Aura started with a problem that a lot of gemstone buyers know well: you find a stone you love online, you read a description full of superlatives and vague language, you buy it — and what arrives is not quite what you imagined. The color is different. The treatment status was never mentioned. The origin was listed as "various." You feel let down, and not entirely sure what you actually have in your hands. We started Stone Aura because we believed the gemstone buying experience deserved to be better than that. Better for the collector who wants to understand what they are building. Better for the jewelry designer who needs accurate specifications to do their job. Better for the person buying a meaningful gift who simply wants to know the stone is genuine. Every gemstone and bead in our collection is individually selected, honestly described, and fully disclosed — treatment status, origin, weight, and dimensions included on every listing. We do not use stock photography. We do not describe stones in language designed to obscure. What you see on our site is what arrives at your door, wrapped carefully and shipped insured.
Three Things We Will Never Compromise On
Complete Treatment Disclosure Every stone listing states treatment status plainly — heated, unheated, fracture-filled, irradiated, or untreated. If we do not know the treatment status with certainty, the stone does not appear on our site. You will never find a vague "may have been treated" disclaimer buried in our fine print.
Verified Origins We source from suppliers we know and have worked with directly. Ceylon Sri Lanka, Brazil, East Africa, Madagascar — when we list an origin, it is because we can stand behind it. We do not list "various origins" and call it good enough.
Individual Selection No batch buying. No catalog orders. Every stone in our collection was chosen individually for its color, character, and the way it performs in real light. The stones you see on our site were looked at — not just ordered from a list.
